I work with people who are looking for a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. Helping individuals/families reach their goals and live fulfilling lives is not a hobby for me, it’s a passion. I was born and raised in New Orleans, so I know how it is to have cravings and be tempted by foods. I believe that you can treat yourself and not feel guilty by balancing eating for nourishment with eating for pleasure. My motto is to meet people where they are. Whether you’re wanting help managing a chronic condition, hoping to increase energy, looking to find ways to manage weight without restrictive dieting or rigorous exercise, I’m here to help!
With a background in exercise physiology, nutrition and health and wellness coaching, I draw from a well-rounded pool of professional experience.
As a trainer, I have worked in medical fitness centers, private personal training studios, community health centers as well as provided in-home personal training services in the Washington D.C area and Durham. In the nutrition field, I have experience working with people with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, HIV as well as prenatal/postpartum women, children and families. When I’m not helping people meet their personal health and wellness goals, I’m hanging out with my wonderful husband and daughter, working out, and dancing.
